Our classes at Long Furlong Community Centre

Spotted we offer classes for over 60s in Abingdon? But feeling nervous about whether it’s right for you? Not sure where to go, where to park or worried you might look silly?

I thought I’d just run through how these classes work to help you feel less anxious.

I teach classes on Wednesday mornings at Long Furlong Community Centre on Boulter Way. Boulter Way is off the main Abingdon ring road - you’ll know you’re on the right road as you’ll drive past Long Furlong Medical Centre and Long Furlong Primary School, before you get to the end of the road and a car park at the community centre. If it’s full, there are spaces on the road.

There are two doors into the community centre and we use the right hand side one, which is usually open. Toilets and coat hooks are in the foyer, then come through the double doors and say hello!

Our classes take place in the spacious main hall and we often keep the doors open to allow for plenty of fresh air.

You’ll be assured of a warm welcome and my main aim is to ensure everyone feels comfortable, welcome, and has a good time.

So, if you're interested in trying out a class at Long Furlong Community Centre, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Our current classes are:

Wednesdays 9.30am Gentle Pilates and

Wednesdays 10.30am Zumba Gold
