A recent survey revealed that women are less likely to stick to exercise than men—and it got me thinking about the many reasons why:
🤩 Confidence issues: We don’t always like what we see in the mirror and compare ourselves to others.
🤩 Self-consciousness: Worrying about what to wear, how we’ll look, and what others might think.
🤩 Prioritising everyone else: With kids, housework, jobs, and everything in between, we often put ourselves last.
🤩 Feeling “not fit enough”: The fear of joining an established class and thinking, “Everyone else will be fitter than me.”
Over the past year, I’ve heard these concerns countless times, and my mission has always been to change that narrative.
Here’s what I’ve worked hard to create at Gemma Pearce Fitness over the past 13 years:

This year, I’ve been privileged to see so many people overcome these barriers and take the first step—watching them grow in confidence, build friendships, and fall in love with movement.
To all my amazing class members, thank you for an incredible 2024! And to anyone thinking about joining us in 2025, just know: we can’t wait to meet you.
