About Tina

I have been teaching fitness classes since 2000 and I couldn’t imagine life without it! I teach Aerobics, RPM Spinning, Fight Club, Body Conditioning and Fitball amongst others.

I was always a permanent fixture at the gym and love to keep myself fit and healthy. Spending so much time at classes and the gym, my friends eventually said that I’d be crazy not to be an instructor.

I was teaching children at the time and loved being a gymnastics coach for them. Then I had my first child in 2003 and started teaching exercise classes in the evenings.

We’re a very fit family – my husband loves mountain biking and the kids and I are often away at weekends supporting his races. But I prefer to keep both feet on the ground with marathon running. I’ve done the London Marathon a few times and I’m a regular at the Abingdon Marathon where I’m always out to beat my personal best time. You have to be quite disciplined to train for marathons - I usually get up early to train for around 3 hours, so being an instructor of so many amazing exercise classes is a lovely change from pounding the pavements and is much less lonely!

In my ‘spare’ time, I love to bake and I’m kept busy making lovely cakes for people’s special celebrations. The baking side of things has just grown by word of mouth and personal recommendations, which is really great.

I absolutely love teaching Boxfit and the more gentle Fitness Pilates classes in Steventon for Gemma. We have a fantastic time, pushing hard with lots of laughs along the way!
