Our classes at Chilton Community Room


Here’s a little bit more about our most tucked away venue – Chilton Community Room!


Chilton Community Room is a newish building on the new development in Chilton, on the other side of the A34, next to Harwell Campus. If you’re not sure, Chilton is just south of Didcot, the other side of East Hagbourne, plus has it’s own A34 junction so also handy for people in Abingdon and East/West Ilsley.


Drive past the entrance to Chilton Garden Centre, past the turning to Chilton School, and you’ll find yourself on Chilton Field Way. Follow the road and you’ll get to a large green, at the end of which, you’ll see a small building and a small car park! There is plenty of space to park and toilets in the foyer.


It’s a small hall and the 2 Tuesday evening Pilates classes here are strictly limited in size. This means that we have small and intimate classes where you’ll get personal attention and get to know your fellow participants.


Our mixed ability Pilates classes are suitable for beginners and those with some Pilates experience of any age, size or fitness.


My classes are different to other classes you may have tried – I treat Pilates as a stretchy exercise class that HAS to be enjoyable. It’s not a silent-meditative-eyes-closed class - we talk throughout and encourage you to share how you’re feeling and ask questions. Our classes always aim to be fun, chatty, supportive and I really don’t believe that exercise has to be serious to be effective.


You may only have 45 minutes to exercise per week and we want that time to be a positive time that you look forward to!


Our new term of Tuesday evening Pilates classes at Chilton Community Room are about to go on sale. If you’d like to join us, just get in touch and we’ll get you booked in!
