News from Gemma Pearce Fitness!

I’m absolutely devastated to start this week’s newsletter with the news that Claire, our wonderful instructor and friend to so many, lost her battle with cancer and died on Tuesday evening.

She brought so much infectious fun, riotous singing and so much whooping to our Zumba classes and had vast knowledge that she shared with her Pilates participants. Others of you may remember her brutal Abs Blitz sessions or enjoyed our lockdown classes from her home with her lovely Mum by her side.

Claire was a super keen Zumba participant, and then when I was pregnant, she trained as an instructor. She was so good, my maternity leave lasted 5 years! She ended up going part time in the Police to teach more classes, eventually leaving TVP and training as a massage therapist. She made that big jump to spend more time with her family, but that also enabled me to spend more time with Lucy, which I will always thank her for.

I’m grateful she worked for me, honoured to have known her and beyond privileged to have been her friend. Sending hugs to everyone xx

Become a Beginner Again

I LOVE beginners! I love welcoming people to classes who haven’t exercised in a while. You definitely don’t have to be fit to start our classes, getting you fitter is my job!
